Parliament Economic Committee: GOI unable to absorb unemployment

Member of the Committee criticized the economy and investment in the parliament, deputy Amer Al-Fayez inability of the government sector to provide jobs for the unemployed and reduce the unemployment rate, calling for the activation of the private sector to take its role in investment to address the phenomenon.

He said in a press statement yesterday, “the government sector is unable to absorb unemployment and country can be totally dependent on this sector through the provision of employment opportunities, as a result of its functions and projects Ltd., he can not accommodate large numbers of unemployed.
Fayez stressed the need to activate the private sector through the provision of infrastructure and support required for the purpose of opening a large investment projects, which are providing employment for large numbers of unemployed, which contributes to reducing the unemployment rate in Iraq.

He said: There are many laws related to activating the private sector provide him with all the necessary support and facilities, and continued to be approved by the House in order to take his role in the investment and operation of labor for the purpose of absorbing a lot of unemployment.

And increased al-Fayez to say that: No the private sector can be activated under conditions of unstable
political, economic and security but are move through the creation of the base-class security and stability, political and economic.
