3-6-2013 *Adam Montana ~They just announced that the vote on the budget will NOT happen today, it has been pushed to tomorrow. Most of us won't be too surprised by that, so that's not really "news" I guess. It's like fishing...we keep getting nibbles, but we have yet to reel in the big one. If you fish, you know you don't just go home after the first nibble fails to land a catch...so we are still here. I should mention that YET AGAIN the budget issues are pretty much all about oil...fingers crossed that they get that budget done tomorrow, but my gut tells me it won't happen until the end of the week or the beginning of the week. The question, as always... Which week? [do you personally believe that the rate is in this budget?] nope, I do not. There is no way they could have been working on something like that, on a budget that is supposed to be public any day now, and be hiding something as big as the RV. That kind of change is going to be released as a surprise to almost everyone involved, and they will be scrambling to adjust for it. Again, this is why so many things had to happen before an RV would be possible... such as high tech banking systems.

3-6-2013 *Adam Montana ~A lot of our friendly nay-sayers...love to try to claim that Chapter 7 is already lifted. I usually respond with something like "yes, but there are still a few remaining points on Chapter 7... it is not COMPLETELY lifted yet." And that has been verified in several different articles that have came out in the last couple weeks...recent articles are very positive about a COMPLETE removal of Chapter 7 in the very near future. [It has been stated...(opinion?) by some, that Chapter VII is not necessary for RV to take place. Your opinion please?] It is definitely possible for the RV to happen BEFORE Chapter 7, but if it does we can expect to see Chapter 7 lifted IMMEDIATELY afterwards... not the normal "soon" we get out of Iraq, but "immediately" as in the following or even same day.

Do you think Iraq will use USA money or Dinar money on these cards?] smart cards represent quite a few things - one of which is the amazing progress the banking in Iraq has and is continuing to make...does this mean "RV tomorrow"? No, but without this technology I don't believe an RV would be possible...so it is a positive thing.
