7-31-2013 *TD ~Some have reported these last few days of Maliki unleashing some 1400+ thugs from prisons to create havoc to it's citizens. There is no credible news agency to use as a link to justify this and in discussion with my contact is false and dangerous reporting. There is evidence of terrorist activity going on in Iraq and else where in the ME , this is really nothing new and I'm told that the Maliki administration is dealing with such quickly and harshly. My Intel informs me that our investment is entering the crucial time of countdown. I want to emphasize a plea to all Intel providers to exercise restraint in putting out any controversial as well as sensitive information. We want nothing right now to deter this train to be starting from the station. It has reached that very important moment . ...let it ride out. Thank you.

7-31-2013 *SteveI ~from what we have been told is that the World Bank and International Monetary Fund have given their approval for the CBI to move forward regarding their revaluation of the currency. The Central Bank of Iraq has also now given their approval and they are ready. The banking foundation is in place and all of the necessary laws have been completed. There is absolutely nothing more to accomplish that will hold this up. Well, yes there is and it is now the Government of Iraq, (my best guess is Maliki). ...the Iraqi media is telling the people that they are ready and want to move forward. we have some very exciting times ahead of us. I just wish I could zero in on a time frame as no one seem to be able to get a handle on this. I am hoping for sooner rather than later. I do believe the violence will continue to rise and things will get worse before they get better if this go on much longer. [Guru] Ray and I both believe it will be some time after their Ramadan 2013 ends which is Wednesday, August 7th. I am told there is an additional feast for the length of four more days, so perhaps after that. Quite frankly, it could be at any moment, and it will be when we least expect it.

7-31-2013 *Poppy3 ~the latest news I have received...is very interesting but I have and no one has any way of verifying it...they called direct from bagdad. AT 2:20 AM THEY STATED THEY ARE HEARING THAT THE RV ANNOUNCEMENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE 5TH BUT WE WILL NOT SEE IT TILL ACTIVATED THE DAY AFTER RAMADAN ON THE TENTH. THIS WAS A RUMOR THAT WAS CIRCULATING TODAY THROUGHOUT BAGDAD. THEY WILL BE TOLD THE RATE HAS CHANGED ON THEIR DINAR AND TO THANK ALLAH FOR THE BLESSING AND THEY WILL PRAY THE LAST FEW DAYS OF RAMADAN AND IT WILL BECOME LIVE ON THE 10TH AFTER THE LAST DAY OF PRAYER. THIS WASN'T MY SOURCE BUT A CONTACT OF A STATESIDE SOURCE THAT I HAVE KNOWN FOR SOME TIME AND THEY 3 WAY'D ME INTO THE CONVERSATION WITH THE COL.THAT IS ON THE GROUND IN BAGDAD. NOW I DON'T HAVE ANY WAY OF CONFIRMING THIS AT ALL BUT THEY WOULD NOT HAVE CALLED MY CELL THIS LATE AT NIGHT JUST TO WAKE ME UP IF THEY WHERE NOT VERY ENCOURAGED OF THE NEWS. HE STATED HE GOT THE INFORMATION FROM A CLERGYMAN? WE WAIT TO SEE BUT IT IS VERY ENCOURAGING THAT IT IS BEING TALKED ABOUT ON THE STREETS UNDER THE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION IN THEIR CITY. 7-31-2013 *TerryK ~There were a couple of meetings that happened today & China was involved in them. China has had a strong arm in what is going on. The IMF and UST & everyone have said we are done & ready go. There was a follow up meeting in D.C. and everything is supposedly set up for it to happen tonight prior to midnight eastern time. So, we will see what happens.

7-31-2013 *Ray ~I just got off the phone with one of my contacts in Baghdad. This is what he relayed to me about what is happening. He stated that Abbas Turki was on Iraqi TV 3 days ago and addressed the people of Iraq. He stated that he met with the Parliament Finance Committee. He said that everything is done concerning the banking aspect of this coming revalue. Everything in country and out of country. He told the people that the revalue is in the hands of the government now. he said if he could revalue today that he would, but he doesn't have that authority.He told the government that the revalue needs to be done as soon as possible. He said the dinar is worthless as it stands now. Iraq can only negotiate with outside companies using the usd only. He said Iraq needs to use the dinar and not depend of the usd. He also told the people that once it revalues, they will have 15 days in country to exchange and 30 days out of country to exchange. Also, the smart cards are being used in country only at the present time. Government employees and retired people are using them. Once the revalue happens, they can be used anywhere. This to me shows that we are still very close to this happening. He has now told the people that it is in the hands of the government and they can start putting pressure on them now. Hopefully for the sake of the Iraqi people, it will happen very soon.

7-31-2013 *Millionday ~they have announced yesterday that they have activated all foreign contracts and agreements and the banks are back...i would love to see that the cards are all being distributed quickly - now that would make me smile. we have both mastercard and visa there. we do have a four day holiday coming up there and the thing about ramadan is that they give gifts so maybe we are looking at timing here because i see nothing we are waiting on to be done but the economic and monetary activation but lets see.there is some sense to the timeline now though --- it sure does feel better with all that we have seen done in the last few days. there are a lot of things done at this time that lead us to believe they are actually joining the world... i just got off a call - i can say that we are in waiting mode so keep your chin up and your smile on.

8-1-2013 *Eagle1 [via BulldogFord65] ~the person[s] tracking the IQD and VND...have tracked over a 10 year period, and in their OPINION, both are poised for HUGE gains literally overnight (not meaning tonight, meaning it will happen all at once overnight when it happens), and the numbers they are analyzing -- IN THEIR OPINION – they believe the IQD and VND could be substantially higher than the projections we are looking at. Eagle1's opinion is that the RV has extreme imminence, and will go before Eid.

8-1-2013 *Bluedog ~Cards Loading tonite to some Iraqis in a article is huge...the global smart card to card to pay bonuses of 100 thousand dinars for the beneficiaries of the Social Welfare Department...source in the company told all of Iraq today that “the amount will be distributed to 345,983 beneficiaries...as of tonight. US Forces have been there moving LD's to Banks and outside Iraq for surrounding Countries...all seem to be in place...US Troops 30,000 plus are also there to guard if needed but they have been training Iraqi Troops for these days of RV...so I believe we're in the Hottest spot right now.

8-1-2013 *Bear5642 ~I know who my contacts are and have met most of them personally including 1 from inside Iraq. The environment in Iraq is NOT what most are saying, it is normal for Iraq and the People are not rioting as we speak. I for one do not trust the media...we even have a translator to view articles and documents. I cannot explain why suddenly the Iraq contacts have gone silent and anything else would be speculation. I am convinced that Iraq is positioned to revalue the IQD. The bottom line is that the CENTRAL Bank of Iraq has the final say so on the RV period... this is going to happen. NO one KNOWS WHEN.
