8-8-2013 *Millionday ~[Isn't Parliment over till the next session in Sept?] no they will be back on monday and i believe they are meeting on sunday as well. when they return they are voting through the basket and it has the hcl in it. [Would they wait to RV until after the oil and gas is done for any reason?] no...it is very important for them to do both as soon as they possibly can at this point so they dont end up with their economy in the dirt. ...however, they can set the rate at anytime at this point and move forward with the laws by expediting them. they have stated that they are ready from all corners and all has approved -- so just a waiting game for it now -- imf - goi - world bank- UN -CBI -- they have all said they are ready --

8-8-2013 *Poppy3 ~ALL IS WELL WITH OUR DINAR--- TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF EID AND THE FIRST DAY OF THE LAST CHANCE FOR IRAQ TO TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS OR HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE UNSC AND IMF. NEWS IS THE SAME AS BEFORE WE ARE WAITING FOR THEM TO TAKE ACTION ON THEIR AGREEMENTS. THEY WILL ACT AND I AM EXPECTING THE ACTIONS TO SHOW BETWEEN TODAY AND MONDAY AND UNTIL IT DOES I DON'T EXPECT NEWS TO CHANGE. AS WE HAVE STATED ABOUT THE RATE THE LOWEST IT COULD BE TO CLEAR THE U S DOLLAR FROM THEIR STREETS WOULD BE AROUND $1.25 BUT I STILL SEE THEM MAKING ONE MOVE AND RATE BEING A MODERATE RATE THEY CAN SUSTAIN FOR 24 TO 36 MONTHS JUST ABOVE $3.00 TO ALLOW THEIR ECONOMY TO FURTHER STABILIZE AND TO PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENTS IN COUNTRY.I WAS TOLD YESTERDAY THERE ARE MANY BUSINESS THAT ARE READY AND WAITING ON THE RV AND THEM HAVING A TRADEABLE CURRENCY TO OPEN AND MOVE FORWARD SO THEY WILL DO THIS ASAP POST RAMADAN. 8-8-2013 *Mnt Goat ~So where are we now with the Iraq Dinar? Why the hold up? If you read my last post earlier this week [See Mnt Goat post 8-6-13] you would now know that the remove the zeros project is well underway and moving along. Iraq has done an in country RV and it has gone international (only as far as the technical aspects go, not yet publicly international i.e bank is holding and no FOREX posting). It is now going on its 8th day of retrieving the final 3 zeros notes from the in country circulation and replacing them with the newer bills of smaller denomination or credits to the bank accounts. I am still waiting to see the new coins issued. I have not heard about this as of yet but that does not mean that it did not happen. It is not a huge event but they are keeping it quite. Normally there are articles that come out for such an event. Anyone see any? They are in very good shape. [stay tuned for "why have we not seen the new rate" from Mnt Goat later today]

8-8-2013 *Jester ~[I know you don't do date. But is there anything that could happen in the "process" that could stop this and extend it past this weekend?] HARD TO SAY... AT THIS TIME IT ALL LOOKS GOOD BUT WE HAVE BEEN IN THIS LONG ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT ALL IS NOT AS IT SEEMS. [just now sent to me: I have a friend, not a contact but a friend, who lives and works for the ministry of interior in Iraq. And he said his father, who is retired last year has his card activated.] GREAT NEWS!

8-8-2013 *TNT Tony ~We are hearing of more and more confirmations of people spending money. Today a guy called from over there and said they are still enjoying their blessing, people are happy, markets are full. Not sure why we are not receiving ours yet. This morning we got a copy of the actual Qi card they are using over there throughout the country that is loaded with a rate of $3.44. Banks called their people in again. They are ready, system is running and just waiting for the announcement. Looking for it today/tomorrow... everything is done so it should be any time.

8-8-2013 *Mnt Goat ~So why have we not seen the new rate at the bank as of yet? First of all we are still in that 10+ day window. Will it take the entire 10 days. I don't know but I am told we should not expect to see the rate live until after 10 days at least and that makes August 10 our best date to begin to have a real possibility. Today and yesterday and the day before your [U.S.] government is exchanging trillions of Iraq dinar for USD with the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) for part of the USD that they are recovering from their citizens....this is the aftermath of the removing the zeros project. This is the plan being implemented behind the scenes...The USA gets it dollars back and Iraq gets de-dollarized. Why did the CBI suddenly go over 80 billion in foreign currency reserves? Its the holding of the USD (the money recovered from the citizens) and they are now exchanging it for the IQD held by the USA. Its a huge shuffle game. We should all expect some weird stuff in the global markets in the coming days. It won't be much longer. The USA government "cash in" is almost completed, Iraq nearly has completed its remove the zeros project and the CBI desperately needs to suck on our 3 zeros notes ASAP. In reality the phase II of delete the 3 zeros project has already begun. Hurray ! We just have to wait our turn.

8-8-2013 *TD ~As U probably know I had a concern of terrorist tragedy being a cause of delay and although yes there was a horrible bombing yesterday in Iraq I was told today by my source that "basically nothing...will deter things at this point". It's that far along and there's no stopping things now. He also said that "there's no way we will let the bad guys win out at this stage". "Iraq WILL take it's rightful place in the world stage"this process is more complex with so many entities that it has finally evolved to a climax. Just wanted to go on record ( for the second & last time ) that WE ARE THERE. You'll probably see announcements in Iraq this weekend and International banking transaction early next week.

8-8-2013 *TerryK ~LAST NIGHT I TOLD YOU I COULD NOT TELL U THINGS, WELL THEM THINGS HAPPENED TODAY...SO THEY ARE ALL PRETTY STOKED AND SAYING WE SHALL BE AT THE BANK BY MONDAY. [are we looking for this to happen late tonight or early morning hours?] THAT'S WHAT IM BEING TOLD AGAIN. I KNOW IT'S BEEN REPORTED THAT SOME OF OUR BANKS CAN SEE A RATE BUT IT'S A DUPED RATE, A DUMMY RATE, NOT REAL...TESTING SYSTEM. ANOTHER SOURCE CALLED HE IS HEARING IT WENT LIVE IN THE EAST...AS IN CHINA...AS WELL, SO WE MAY SEE THIS TONIGHT.
