8-5-2013 *TNT Tony ~I got a call over the weekend saying the Qi Cards were activated...the cards went live...contractors, widows, retirees, the kurdistan region...how can some be at different levels? How could one region be at 3.44 and rest 1166. It's not our country, we don't get to dictate how it works. They have been using them all weekend, they have changed the prices in the market...each one is at $3.44. Did they have an RV? Evidently they did. It wasn't blasted around the world because it is not international yet. This was done to calm the masses. All are saying it's done. Why are we not seeing it? Don't know. It is live & they can only hold it so long from going international. Could show up in the next hour, could happen today or tomorrow. They have a rate in Iraq of $3.44 & international rate will be higher. [What is your best guess about the VND?] Somewhere between .50 and $1. But, I know the ceiling rate is over $1. Banks said it was to go last night 12 Midnight. They're as frustrated as we are. Some procedures have changed. We will have 30 days to do this. This is a situation like any other country. They can discontinue the 3 zero notes when they decide. People want to apply US laws, and it does NOT work this way. I am looking at the document. It is signed and it is done - they are changing the rules and they want this to be done in a short time. I got this from a Government agency. [new rate...double digits?] Yes, supposedly in double digits! I am hearing it is at the banks and it is ready to go. We're right there, should have already happened, they don't have a lot of time to mess with it. So be excited.

8-5-2013 *Poppy3 ~HERE IS WHERE I FEEL WE STAND AT THIS TIME ACCORDING TO ALL REPORTS FROM OUR GOVERNMENT CONTACTS AND REPORTS FROM ON THE GROUND IN IRAQ, KUWAIT AND DOCUMENTATION OF ARTICLES FROM MANY NEWS AGENCIES. I HAVE STAYED UP TONIGHT READING MANY OLD ARTICLES FROM THE LAST MONTHS AND THE MANY POST WE HAVE BEEN MADE PRIVY TO AND OTHER THAN THE TREMENDOUS UNREST IN BAGDAD OVER THE LAST 10 DAYS OR SO...THERE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO THAT POINTS TO ANY DELAYS. THE UNREST ACTUALLY SHOULD CONTRIBUTE TO FASTER ACTION ON THEIR PART TO DO THE RV AGAINST MALIKI'S WISHES. IT WOULD REALLY CURB AND MORE THAN LIKELY STOP MOST OF THE MURDERS. I FEEL THAT THE IMF, UNSC AND WORLD BANK ORGANIZATIONS CAN BECAUSE OF PREVIOUS AGREEMENT IRAQ MADE WITH THEM TO MEET DEADLINE FOR COMPLETIONS TO ALLOW THEM OUT OF CHAPTER 7 THAT THEY CAN INVOKE THE RV WITHOUT FURTHER TALKS.

8-5-2013 *BGG ~I had a contact call over to Iraq after this recent "it's done at 3.42 and we just don't see it here yet" scare....blah, blah, blah...prices were changed - yada, yada, yada. they reported no change as of this AM - nothing. Nada - zip - total BS....FRAUD ALERT!!

I WILL CONCEDE THAT COULD HAPPEN BUT I FEEL IF IT SHOULD IT WILL BE A VERY SHORT TIME PERIOD AND WE CAN...RIDE IT OUT TILL IT HITS A RATE WE LIKE BETTER. EVEN IN THIS SITUATION THEY MUST MEET THEIR BUDGET AT SOME POINT BEFORE JAN 1 WHICH WAS FIGURED AT $3.42 PLUS BETWEEN NOW AND THEN.THEY NEED DISPARATELY TO BUILD THEIR PEOPLES CONFIDENCE IN THE DINAR AND IF IT IS NOT ABOVE THE VALUE ON THE STREETS OF THE USD THEY WILL NOT EXCHANGE AND SO THEY EVEN ON THE LOW END WOULD HAVE TO START ABOVE SOMEWHERE ABOVE $1.25. THIS WOULD MAKE EVERYONE OF YOUR $25,000.00 NOTES WORTH $31,250.00 NOT BAD TO SIT ON AND WAIT TILL IT GETS HIGHER. IF THIS GOES PASSED AUG 15TH I AM AT A LOSS AS TO WHEN IT COULD OR SHOULD HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE FROM THERE.

[what were the rates that were being discussed please?] I was saying...if this goes on too much longer it would be easy to see a rate around a buck and a half (ish)... [would $1.25 rate really de-dollarize Iraq?] yes. [can I ask why do you believe in the RV will be less than $3?] I don't think I believe that - what I have to make sense of is the current scenario. The brains behind the operation is gone. We have to take into account the current set of circumstances and administration. [are the cards activated in Iraq at 3.44?] ...they are not activated at 3.44 - or loaded - or anything else. As per a direct source this AM [Monday]. [what are key triggers you are looking for at this time?] a rate. [What's the most likely scenario at this point (in your opinion)?] there are a number of things that could happen...most likely = something soon. [are you a little bit more than cautiously, optimistically, excited?] all of the above.

8-6-2013 *Mnt Goat ~I know for a fact and I mean fact that they are spending their money swiping the new biometric IQ SMART cards. I know that there was a meeting last week to decide what to do with Maliki and his opposition to many of the news laws and the activation of the cards. This was all taken care of and the cards were activated in groupings. The activations began on 8/1 and I have been told yesterday that all the groupings are now done.I also know for a fact that the VND is going to revaluate as part of the global currency reset. It is showing a new rate on the bank back screens in the inactive status. It is soon to be pushed to the active status and overlay the old rate so the banks will use it.
