Spring is advised to wait in Iraq’s accession to the WTO

Baghdad / WAP / advised the Minister of Labour Nassar al-Rubaie, Iraq’s accession to wait in the World Trade Organization.

He said in a statement today: “The necessity require the patient to join the World Trade Organization, but after a long period of time.”

He added: “The abolition of tariffs and customs of foreign goods and products will lead to flood the market with these products, what products would weaken the competition of the cheap foreign product and its quality.”

He noted that “We are suffering from high unemployment is high and the inability of the industrial sectors in the provision of employment and unemployment worsened significantly.”
