Zebari discusses with U.S. Undersecretary of State importance of activating the work of the Joint Coordinating Committees between the two countries

Research and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, with Undersecretary of the Ministry of State William Burns, bilateral relations and the importance of activating the work of the Joint Coordinating Committees between Iraq and America.

He said a Foreign Ministry statement received news agency Baghdad International / WAP / copy on Thursday, said, “Zebari met with Deputy U.S. Secretary of State William Burns and discussed with him bilateral relations and the importance of activating the work of coordinating committees between the two countries arising from the strategic framework agreement.”

“It was also discussed developments in the Syrian crisis, and the government’s plans to liberate themselves from the provisions of Chapter VII concerning the situation between Iraq and Kuwait”.
