He added that “Iraq move to achieve its international obligations, in particular with the Kuwaiti side, which is the key element in the income of Iraq under this heading,” explaining that “Iraq rest on the road to democracy and elections that allow the Iraqi people to choose its representative in the authorities executive and supervisory best proof of that” .
The Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, arrived in Baghdad on an official visit to discuss developments in Iraq outstanding issues with Kuwait and pull the country out of Chapter VII and developments in the region in general.
