Announced that the Iraqi Oil Ministry announced a plan to increase its export of crude oil to five million barrels per day during the next two years, as well as seeking to establish a network of pipelines to transport gas. A spokesman for the Iraqi Oil Ministry, Assem Jihad, “The ministry has developed a proactive plan for the development of outlets export to keep pace with developments in the oil production in the coming years,” noting that the Ministry’s projects that have reached Completion rates high will raise the export capacity of Iraqi crude oil to five million barrels per day during the next two years. “Jihad said that the second phase requires the establishment of three export pipelines through Syria to the Syrian port of Banias to add more than two million barrels per day, in addition to other projects to extend the pipe with the Turkish side.
