Baghdad (news) .. Yesterday chairman of the Electoral Commission for elections Faraj al-Haidari with the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq Martin Kobler a number of issues of concern to the democratic process in Iraq.

A statement of the Commission has received the Agency (news) copy of it: that the two sides discussed during the the meeting, steps can be followed for the purpose of promoting the successes, including the success of the electoral processes that were previously established the foundations strong in building a new democratic Iraq. “
The statement added that the two sides also discussed the mechanism for the selection committee charged with choosing the Board of Commissioners next and the time period remaining of the current with possibility of finding ways to ensure communication for the training of the new Council in the event was chosen by the parliamentary committee, with an emphasis on the importance of the role played by the United Nations in the mechanism of choice and clarity of the image to have and hold the coordination and support from the UN Office of the elections in the coming period, especially that there are benefits election will be witnessed Iraq in the near future.

and the statement that praised the efforts of the Office Kubler after the successes achieved through the management and organization of many of the electoral processes in Iraq and the role of the United Nations and international organizations in supporting the democratic process and the elections.
