Iran reopened its embassy in London on Sunday, hours after a similar move for Britain to open its embassy in Tehran and the return of diplomatic relations of the two countries after the nuclear deal between Iran and the West.
And was attended by Mohammed Hassan Habibollah Zadeh, Iraniancharge d'affaires in London and Deputy Foreign Minister Mehdi Danesh-Yazdi ceremony in the diplomatic headquarters of Iran, a few blocks from the embassy in west London.
The British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond today visited Tehran and opened his country's embassy returned it as a historic moment page in relations between the two countries.
Hammond said that "This is the first visit by a British foreign minister to Tehran since 2003 and this is a historic moment in the relations between the two countries" .anthy
