Maliki calls for Iraqi ministers to end the boycott and return to the Council of Ministers

Baghdad, February 6 (Rn) – A coalition of state law claim by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, on Monday, the Prime Minister and the point of an invitation to the Minister of the Iraqi List, to end the boycott and return to the Council of Ministers, noting that there is an initiative of President Jalal Talabani to this subject.

The leader and deputy Shaker Darraji told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the ministers of the Iraqi List, did not return to the cabinet until now and to the ministries,” adding that “this position depends on the ongoing negotiations between Iraq and the rule of law.”

Darraji said that “There are meetings held, and there was a request from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki for the return of the Iraqi List, ministers to the cabinet,” noting that “there is now an initiative to President Jalal Talabani in this regard.”

He added that he “should not link back to the issue of Ministers Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, it is an issue adopted by the judiciary” waving it “may not linking the two, The theme of the Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq Vchristl in the coming days.”

The Iraqi List led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi has ended the suspension of the end of last month to attend the meetings of the House of Representatives, while kept the boycott of the government until further notice.

The Iraqi List, and decided last December to suspend the participation deputies and ministers at meetings of the House and Minister because of what it considers “the policy of marginalization” as well as the issuance of an arrest warrant against Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi and attempts to isolate Saleh al-Mutlaq from office.

Also decided to separate the list of six of its members who had attended the meeting of the Council of Representatives in contrast to the existing judge’s decision to boycott the hearings.

And raised the Iraqi List three options at its meeting today to vote out the position of the political process, the first of withdrawal from the government and the transition to the opposition, and the second is to withdraw completely from the political process, and third to end the Province House and Cabinet.
