This added the source, who declined to be named, told all of Iraq [where] that Ambassador Jeffrey is now in a normal diplomatic mission and that President Barack Obama will announce the nomination of a successor when he returns from his mission.

The Ambassador Jeffrey, aged 65 years now, took office in Iraq in August 2010 and had served as Ambassador in a number of countries, including Albania and Turkey.
