Environmental monitoring 7.4 billion Iraqi dinars for the implementation of investment projects in the current year

Baghdad, October 21 / October (Rn) - The Iraqi Ministry of Environment that it had detected 7 billion and 412 million Iraqi dinars within the budget of Finance in 2011 for the implementation of eight projects in the field of environment in the country. The Minister of Environment Sargon Lazar Saliob told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "The ministry has allocated 7 billion and 412 million Iraqi dinars for the implementation of eight investment projects in the field of environment." He pointed out that "the projects included building a database environment in all Iraqi provinces, and the establishment of the headquarters of the Ministry in the provinces of Muthanna, Wasit billion and 650 million Iraqi dinars." He added Iraq that "the allocation of the investment plan the remainder distributed to the Design of environmental projects in the governorate of Basra and the implementation of project monitoring air quality in all provinces, ethnic." The Ministry of Environment that the environmental situation in Iraq shambles, and he needs to address, especially the problem of water pollution and desertification in large areas and waste war in most parts of Iraq.
